Birthday Celebration!

Last Sunday, my friends and I were invited to celebrate our other friends children's birthday. This was no ordinary party. We celebrated Amber & Teddy's 5th birthday at Maestro's Catering Hall. Yes, it was a big party with a kid-friendly DJ. All the children were VERY entertained with the games, dancing, and even a conga line.

Amber & Teddy are the sweet twin children of Diana and Teddy, whom we know from work. Teddy is a dean at our school, and Diana works in the city. During the party, Teddy spent time videotaping, as well as socializing. Diana also did some socializing, but she spent more time enjoying the festivities along with the children. It really was special to have been a part of their day. These children, like all children, are a gift from God. This is a precious family whom I am happy to be friends with.

Mr. Crabs

Our newest family member has a unique name. Of course, just by looking at his sweet face, you would never know why we refer to him in such a way.

My newest little love, Ayden, is humorously referred to as 'Mr. Crabs.' At times it can be a chore to calm him down or keep him happy. But when we see his smiling face, we can't help but laugh & love him for who he is ... Crabby and all.

March

I'm glad February is behind us. While there were many birthday celebrations, a week off, and time to spend relaxing, it was also terribly draining at times and left me feeling exhausted and sad.

Now that March has begun, I find myself looking forward to all that this month will bring ... All that the Lord has in store for me.

Spring is not too far off. I'm praying we don't get a blast of wintery weather before the season ends. Hopefully we'll see trees and flowers blooming before we see another snowfall --- in December. :). I'm looking forward to a new season & new adventures.

My cousin, Ally, is coming home to visit for a week from South Dakota. I just remembered that & I honestly can't wait to see her again. I hope we get to spend a few days together. We miss her dearly.

March has LITERALLY just begun. I'm truly looking forward to what's in store. Hopefully lots of fun with fantastic memories.
